  I recently left a VW Golf with Tea Gardens Auto-Electrical and Mechanical. organization. The car was left on Monday 5th June 2017 with a request to reset the warning lights I could not reset due to a flat battery. I picked up the car on Friday 16th June 2017. It was not fixed. The lights could not be reset for several reasons including not having VW specialized equipment, etc. Cost $484.00.
  
  Nobody called me to authorize tests for $484.00. My experience with professional organizations is that I receive a call from the service center to explain the work that may need to be done, and an estimate of the total cost, or the hourly rate if open-ended. I then either approve the quote or limit the hours spent finding the fault.
